I’ve discovered a large number of NFL team “fight songs” in the last few months, and some of them are so awful, they make me want to share them. So without anymore introduction, here they are:

• The people over at SweetShaun.com have come up with a nifty little diddy about their MVP. It’s sung to the tune of Sweet Home Alabama, and goes by the name Sweet Shaun Alexander.
• There’s also the original Carolina Panthers Fight Song. It sounds so awful that it truly belongs in the Super Bowl halftime show. Enjoy! (this version doesn’t feature the amazing panther growl or the spelling out of Carolina Panthers)
• The Cincinatti Bengals are setting records for Most Arrests by an NFL team, and based on their “Fear Da Tiger” music video it’s easy to see why. (You have to like the violin player)
• Then there’s the classic San Diego Super Chargers Song. Ah, that takes you back to the 70s…I think. Nothing else to say about this gem.

So there you have it. That’s the reason Super Bowl halftime shows are so bad.
