The New Blog

So I spent a lot of tonite just trying to figure out this fancy blogging business. Of course I need to open up the hood to fiddle around a bit, and I’ve learned a few things.
Most happily, I have included some of my old color themes into the site on the link-hover effects. Now most links will turn orange, except the ones on the header navbar, which will turn a puke green. For some reason I like both colors for mouseovers, perhaps because they would be awful if they were always on.
Most noticably I’ve fixed the header image, and my next step will be to find a way to get my Java Script flowing to force that header image to change everytime the page is refreshed. I even came up with 18 separate images to go in there, but now I can’t use them.
And my favorite addition so far has been the inclusion of the awesome word tagger storm on the sidebar. That’s the big jumble of seemingly random words to the right. Basically it monitors words that come up a lot in this blog and the words grow as they are used more. This seems really cool to me, and is the whole reason behind this post. Gotta get those new words flowing into the cute little plugin.
Okay, now I should go to bed, as I feel like I’m going to pass out.
