I haven’t posted here in a long, long time.

I’ve posted cool commercials in the past (about Alexander Hamilton, Bouncing Balls, and Long Balls). I have a couple more that are awesome, and must be added:

This Discovery Commercial just makes me feel good. I don’t understand it. It’s just the perfect ad to make people want to watch Discovery Channel all day long (now if only their HD channel had something besides Deadliest Catch 2000 times in a row). It just makes me think that all the people at Discovery love their jobs, and it makes me want to watch them do what they love.

This is an old Bombay Sapphire commercial that I have an odd obsession with. It’s just a pretty commercial with a nice mellow tune behind it. It was made by an ad company Psyop that has a lot of other awesome and familiar ads:

Battlestar Galactica – Season 3

Sure, it did have some lame episodes in the middle of the season, but it began with the huge New Caprica plotline and ended with the final 5 being 80% revealed. Those were such quality bookends it gives the whole season a solid grade, despite the rough patch.

YouTube had clips from the season finale, but I can’t find a good one anymore. I will, however, include the other bookend which features a nearly un-toppable “Adama Maneuver,” which is so awesome in its idea and the way it looked on screen. God, I’ve got a bit of a crush on the Adama Maneuver, because it just looked so damn good.

Futurama – Seymour Sadness

I didn’t have this posted already, so I might as well throw it up now. It’s the saddest moment from Futurama, in the episode “Bark to the Future.” One of the best shows ever!

I just kind of wanted a record of it here.
